Terms and Conditions

Before planning travel arrangements for your flight, hotel, car rental, tour, cruise, or other trip, please read these TERMS AND CONDITIONS carefully. Your pursuance into the actual planning signifies your agreement with the following:

(“Consultant”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”). Simply River Cruising is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.

Simply River Cruising assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under Simply River Cruising’s control. You hereby release Simply River Cruising from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.

Simply River Cruising has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, Simply River Cruising recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Simply River Cruising recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release Simply River Cruising from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in Denton County will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or Simply River Cruising, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation (vacation) insurance. We also strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased.

Simply River Cruising is a fee-based agency that specializes in excellent service. We research numerous vendors to ensure that we have received the best pricing on airfare, cruise fares, car rentals, accommodations, etc., based on desired travel dates and availability. This agency accepts no cash. Credit Cards/Cashier’s Check/Money Orders/Checks will be made payable to: Simply River Cruising.

PRICE QUOTES:

Quotes on airfare are not confirmed until booked with full names and payment in full. All prices are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, non-transferable, and non-extendable. If, however, you are unable to travel, you may use price paid for airfare toward future travel. A minimum $150 applies to any changes made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Certain restrictions do apply. Tickets generally valid for 1-year from purchase date. Unless otherwise noted on the quote, quotes typically do not include airfare, gratuities, meals, resort fees, incidental items, souvenirs, airport transfers or travel insurance.

BOOKING ONLINE:

When booking through Simply River Cruising's preferred booking engines, clients are responsible for any errors made including, but not limited to, incorrect name spellings that lead to cancellation or change penalties, missing travel components, or incorrect travel dates entered. Simply River Cruising will assist with correcting these errors at a rate of $100 per hour.

DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS:

Payment schedules are set forth by travel suppliers and are due on the dates specified. Failure to pay on time can result in an automatic cancellation by the affected supplier and can lead to forfeiture of prior payments.

All major credit cards are accepted unless otherwise noted by the supplier. Money orders will be accepted and made payable to Simply River Cruising only. NO cash is accepted at any time.

REVISIONS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS

Revision, Cancellation and Refund policies will vary by individual suppliers. Supplier cancellation fees can be up to 100% of the total trip cost and no-shows are non-refundable.

Refund restrictions and policies for unused travel and vacation components vary and are subject to the rules of individual travel suppliers. Insurance premiums, airfare and some supplier fees are non-refundable. Please inquire about supplier policies prior to confirmations.

Simply River Cruising may impose a $50 per person administrative fee in addition to supplier fees and may range up to 10% of total travel costs. Administrative fees will be quoted at the time of confirmation and included on all invoices. We do reserve the right to waive this fee for bookings created online and not using the services of a travel consultant. Other restrictions may apply.

Travel insurance is strongly encouraged, which may cover cancellations for covered reasons outlined in the policies. Policies vary with differing exclusions (such as pre-existing medical conditions, work-related issues, supplier bankruptcy, change of mind, etc.).

REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION

Government issued photo identification is required for ALL travel (driver's license or state ID, etc.). Simply River Cruising strongly encourages ALL travelers to utilize a Passport when traveling. Cruise Lines indicate that passengers can use a birth certificate when cruising on closed-loop cruises (cruises originating and terminating in a US departure port). This policy is fine if all goes as planned. If, for some reason, a passenger needs to disembark for any reason in an international location, they will be unable to return to the US with a birth certificate. Simply River Cruising will not be liable if passengers travel without passports.

Passports are definitely required for all international travel and some countries require VISAs. Travelers will not be permitted to depart without proper identification. Simply River Cruising will assist travelers to obtain passports, visas, etc at a rate of $100 per hour, however, it is the traveler's responsibility to verify and obtain any required identification prior to travel commencing. Travelers must ensure that passports' expiration date is at least 6 months past date of travel.

Please check with US Department of State for more information relating to your travel destination. Special documentation is required for minor children traveling with or without their parents. If traveling with children, please check with Simply River Cruising before departure for any specific policies or restrictions.

Non-US citizens must contact the consulates of any countries you are visiting to verify any visa requirements. Non-US citizens residing in the US must also contact the US Citizenship and Immigration Service for re-entry into the US.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Simply River Cruising encourages the use of E-Docs (electronic documents) where possible. E-Docs can be completed online and printed at your convenience. If travel documents are delivered to Simply River Cruising, they will be delivered via US Postal Service, UPS or FedEx. For late bookings and re-bookings, or if expedited service is required, a $25 shipping fee will apply. We check all documents prior to delivery. When received by passengers, check for accuracy of all information. Simply River Cruising will assume no liability if documents are not checked upon receipt. Call us immediately at 972-987-0695 if inaccuracies are found.

Tickets and vouchers are negotiable instruments - please keep them in a safe place at all times. Lost, stolen or misplaced tickets/vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.

Immediately make a copy of your documents when received. When arriving in the cruise cabin/hotel, keep the originals in a safe and carry the copies with you at all times.

AIRLINE CONFIRMATIONS, CHECK IN, SEAT ASSIGNMENTS, MISSED FLIGHTS

It is important to confirm your flights with the airline prior to departure: 24 hours for domestic flights and 72 hours for international flights. Failure to confirm international flights or failure to use any portion of an airline reservation may result in automatic cancellation by the airline for all continuing and return flights. Familiarize yourself with the airline's policies and requirements prior to booking.

Unless stated otherwise by the airlines, it is important to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure for domestic flights and at least 3 hours prior to departure for international flights.

Late arrival at the airport can result in loss of assigned seats or denial of boarding. Denial of boarding is not eligible for refund or travel insurance reimbursement.

Airfare rebookings are subject to airline penalties, rebooking fees, plus any difference in cost for the new booking. Simply River Cruising will assist at a rate of $100 per hour.

Seat assignments are subject to change by the airline without notice.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

All prices are thought to be accurate, available, and current at the time of advertising and booking with the supplier. The information, products, and services may include inaccuracies and typographical errors on behalf of the suppliers. Simply River Cruising assumes no responsibility nor guarantee the accuracy of, including but not limited to, the price, information, and description of the products and services listed on this website from suppliers. Simply River Cruising is not liable for any errors made by clients creating their own bookings online. By booking online, clients take full responsibility for any errors that may occur (name misspellings, incorrect travel dates, etc). Simply River Cruising is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any supplier, or personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages or expenses resulting from causes outside of the control of Simply River Cruising.

Simply River Cruising shall not be responsible for travel delays or cancellations or any illness, death, injury, damage or loss of vacation time arising thereafter. Changes to cruise ports of call or itineraries due to mechanical, weather, or world events beyond our control are at the sole discretion of the cruise line and may occur without notice. Any applicable compensation resulting from such occurrences is also at the sole discretion of the supplier.

Simply River Cruising shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred by the traveler in connection with, or by supplier employees or contractors, terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures, or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside of the control of Rx 4 Fun Travel LLC. Travelers assume complete and total responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, inoculation/vaccination, or other entry requirements for each destination, as well as re-entry into the US, and all safety and security conditions at such destinations, in connection with the proposed travel itinerary. For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, check the Travel Advisory section of the US Department of State website.

Should you desire to continue with Simply River Cruising’s services, a $200 VACATION PLANNING RETAINER is requested. That retainer, used to cover our time, services and efforts should you decide not to confirm, is non-refundable. If departure date is within 6 weeks of the request, this retainer is NOT applied toward final payment as it will be considered a RUSH reservation and must be prioritized over other clients.

Thank you for using our services and we welcome the opportunity to work with you on any future travel plans.
